Classical Guitar Process III

Glued the heel block to the neck. That’s the big stack of wood at the base of the neck. Basically I laminated 3 layers of wood from the same length of neck blank. You can see the line I drafted near the bottom of the heel block that represents the final depth of the heel, and the lines along the neck that represent the final thickness of the neck and headstock.

Drilled the holes for the tuning keys. I used a “modestly priced” dowel jig for making furniture and it worked ok, but necessitated the use of individual tuners since I could not accurately drill a series of three holes for a traditional classical guitar 3-peg tuner doing it this way. It worked for where I was in my tool budget.
